Love is in the air - Freebie VDay Cards

What do you do when you can't sleep because of a cold? Freebies sounded like a good idea. Jeanine DeOre released a new kit this week called "LoveBirds" and you guessed it - cute birds everywhere! It's amazing how many saying we have related to birds and love. I made some little 3x4 cards like we use to give away at school. Instead of one of those expensive cards how about something a little more hand made this year. I also found some envelopes by Sherri Osborn you can cut out and even decorate too.

Hope you all have a great weekend and Valentine's Day!

Terrible cold, but finished a few pages

Well, this stinkin' cold didn't keep me down for long. I was determined to get some pages done and I did. Tristen's ankle is feeling much better and he's pretty much back to normal now but keeping physical activity low.

First up is a page about my wishes for 2011. Some wishes are trivial and some are repetitive but all are me!Created using the Flavor of the Month Pink Lady Collab "And So It Begins"

Tristen got quite a surprise for Christmas. Since he already has THREE PS3's to play with, we said no way to an Xbox. However, we finally decided to let him have it since he didn't want anything else for Christmas and that's what all his friends play online. We figured it was social, so what the heck! It's another piece of cheese to keep him doing his work.

Hope everybody enjoys their weekend. We're off to Louisiana to visit "Big Lake" which means lots of laptop time for me and lots of photos to take. Ahhh....

A few more

OOOOhhh, I have a few more pages to share today. I guess it's easier to put them in separate posts anyway. Right?
I really liked these photos of my son and dog. Something about the sunlight in these pics really makes me happy. These great little templates by Project B Designs, really got me rockin' with this page. Kit used is Project B Designs "Project ABC Bundle #3." Full Credits here.

When my husband and I were dating we took a trip to Fargo for his cousin's wedding. I really had a good time there, but it was unexpected fun. I'm not a huge fan of cold, so I thought I was in for freezing temps. I even have flip flops on in one of these pictures!

I used Project B Designs kit "All Things Happy" to create this page. Full Credits here.

Today is a challenge, Two Pages done

Today is a rough day for me, I am trying to eat better but I'm not really wanting to today. Then my son sprained his ankle, YUCK! He's taking it well, it's not too painful now that we got some ibuprofen in him. It doesn't look too bad, but is really swollen. Fingers are crossed that it's minor, we'll give it until tomorrow before we go to the doctor. He's enjoying unlimited Xbox time, so he's feeling no pain ;)

Here's a few more pages I've done recently. In honor of the worrying we mothers do, 1st up is a page about my son.

Created with Timo Designs Kit "Imagination" available at ScrapBird. I did this page for a challenge at ScrapMatters, you can pick up the template for free here - courtesy of Tanya Riley.

I can't believe it's been 10 years since I took these pictures! Timo Designs also has a new Kit out this week called "Cold Days", find it here at ScrapBird.

Busy Gal lately but here are 3 pages done

I've been a busy gal lately. I've enjoyed some great family time and made quite a few scrapbook pages. I'm really enjoying my experience as a layout creator for several awesome kit designers. All of the groups are really great people to work with. I'm about to celebrate a birthday, between that and the New Year it's always a very introspective time of year. I'm reading the book "The Happiness Project" right now and highly recommend it. Here are a few pages I'd like to share with you all!

This is my dad and his sister back before I was born (almost 34 years ago.) I love the candid shot, don't see many older photos with people caught in the act.

I have a few puppy pictures too, who doesn't love some cute puppy dog eyes.

This is my dog, Max. I just love the little bugger!

Gabbi is the pet of designer Brandi Sutherlin who created this kit called "Raveled" for all your knitting and crochet pages. She let me borrow a picture to use on this page. Isn't Gabbi cute!

I have more to post, be back soon!
