Freebie New Year Card

Did you run out of time for Christmas cards? Then send a Happy New Year card, act like you meant to do it. Customize with your photos and send via email or print and mail via USPS! Card is 4x6 so you can print at your favorite photo processor and chunk it in the mail. I'm sending mine via email. Walgreen's has a sale going on right now for prints.

November Extreme Makeover Challenge

I completed my Extreme Makeover Challenge hosted at Scrapmatters. I did the original page for a speed scrap and when the instructions weren't working with my pictures, I was too stubborn to pick different photos. I thought it would help me be more creative since it usually does. For the makeover I added in one more picture that I had really wanted to use and changed the kit to more subtle colors. It is painful for me to post this before page but I do looove that red paper and have to find another page to use it on.

To Do

Yesterday I applied for a few CT positions I was really interested in. Some great people out there to work with, excited!

As I was looking around the forums, I am inspired to create one of these neat signatures I keep seeing. Look at this eye candy!

Now I want to buy both of those kits! I'm going to spend most of the day on the computer today and leave house work until hubby is done getting stuff outta the way. He is working on decking in the attic and then we'll have some space around here. Off to make a siggy, do a challenge (or two), check out the gallery for some pretty stuff and see what's going on in the forums. Sounds like a fun day to me!

I really want to be more active with my blog and so here goes!

I did a sample page for a new friend I met online during a chat (Mom2Moo) She saw some of my completed scrapbook pages while we were getting to know each other. She had a new kit coming out and asked if I wanted to do a sample page. How sweet! Here it is live on one of the websites it'll be at:

I've toyed with applying to be a formal member of a Creative Team (CT) for a designer but hadn't felt ready yet. After spending a lot of time taking Jessica Sprague classes, lurking on forums, then participating in forums and having fun with it all...I feel ready to try my hand at it. I've found a few people having a CT call and so I'm going to apply for the people I admire and think I'd be able to help. Here goes nothin'.
